My sub started a project and halfway through, informed me that he was leaving Georgia. I immediately informed client and advised that I had other contractors that would finish project but she refused. Now attempting to take me to court but I feel that she breached contract because I was not allowed to finish with another contractor. He was working 3 jobs and the other 2 allowed me to send another contractor to finish and both has referred me for other projects.
It sounds like you should have been permitted the opporutnity to replace your sub if you had another available. Let me know if you would like to discuss further.
