Does Florida have reciprocity with Michigan dealing with Builders license?

Does a Michigan Residential builders license (no commercial license required) have reciprocity with Florida's new law allowing you to get licensed in the state without taking the test. I'm looking to get the CBC license allowing me to do interior buildouts.thank you!

No. Currently the only way is through Endorsement. That means that you need to have the State psychometricians analyze the Michigan test to determine that it is substantially similar to the Florida test. That takes a long time and Florida may ultimately find that it is not similar plus, Michigan may not agree to give Florida the test for analysis. The NASCLA test is allowed so if you have that - it is already approved in Florida. Otherwise, you need to take the test in Florida. Caution, in order to get the CBC and CGC in Florida you MUST have commercial construction experience.
