We are getting our basement refinished but not happy with the progress of the work. The 6-8 week project is now on week 10 and are counting the days of no work being performed and no contact from the project manager. If the contract says that it is subject to a 25% cancellation fee/restocking fee but we've already paid 33% of the total price, are we then only responsible to pay for work performed/material delivered or is the 25% cancellation fee on top of what we paid?
