Do I need a college degree for a residential or general contracting license?

Georgia

Is it mandatory to have 4 years of college / trade to get a residential or general contractor license? I am currently opening a multi-teir home restoration business with subcontracted crews. I have 2 years of storm restoration experience but have expelled greatly enough to invest in my own home restoration business raging from basic remodeling, insurance claims all the way to new construction.

In the State of Georgia, contractor licensing is governed by State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors. Georgia has 4 main classifications for contractor licenses that could apply based on the work performed. There are a few requirements that you will need to apply for a Georgia contractor's license, regardless of which contractor license category you fall in. The basic requirements to file a for a Georgia contractor's license are:

  • Be 21+ years old
  • Pass a criminal background check to show that you have good moral character
  • Pass a written exam
  • Submit an application
  • Pay the $200 application fee (it’s non-refundable)

Keep in mind that these are just the basic requirements. Each category of the license may have additional requirements.

this is an excellent thing that is provided by essay writers in USA. But I also got to know about best fake diploma site review that they are giving to some kids. More colleges or schools should stay away from such activities.
