We signed and paid a deposit in May 2021 and no permit was filed until December 2021. Permits have been getting denied due to inacuracies, they continue to charge us escalation costs and now the bank wants a payment to hold our interest rate. Since the builder did file for a permit, can we still send a certified letter demanding a full refund since it took them more than 30 days initially to file?
