Hello.
I have a court-ordered judgement for payment of attorneys' fees. The order is filed against a person that has a property in a trust. Can I lien the property for payment? I am located in Maricopa County Arizona.

Your judgment becomes a lien against any real property owned by the judgment debtor (the party against whom the judgment is issued) when you record the judgment with the county recorder in the county where real property owned by the judgment debtor is located.
The judgment lien is not the same as a mechanics lien, and has different rules for foreclosure. You should speak with an experienced real estate attorney to determine which counties you should record the judgment, and whether you can thereafter foreclose on the judgment lien.
