Hello, I have a contractor who would like us to input his markup cost as the total contract amount, so when the property owner receives the notice it reflects what he has charged and there are no issues between them. If it ever comes to needing to send an NOI or placing a lien with this contractor, will stating a different amount on the preliminary notice affect our payment rights?
