We liened a property in Canton, MA. The owners are in Miami FL. We have tried twice sending these documents to them but both times via USPS and Fed Ex it says unable to deliver sending back to shipper. Are we able to hand deliver these documents to the property where the work was done in Canton MA? How can we get these documents in the hands of the appropriate party?

Are you a subcontractor or a general contractor? If you are a general contractor there is no statutory requirement that you give the owner notice of the recording. If you are a subcontractor you have to give the owner 'actual notice' of the recording If you ae a subcontractor I would suggest employing a sheriff or constable in FL to serve the notice. in hand if possible, and have them forward a return stating their doings.

Just send by standard US mail and certified mail return receipt requested to the property owner at the address you have for adequate legal service. It doesnt matter if it comes back. That doesnt help with practical collection

Eventually you will have to use a process server in Fl once you have to serve them with a Complaint to finish the lien
