Can I get paid still even though owner sold house so how while the lien levels did for me was in place

I had levelset put a mechanics lien and all paperwork on a property were the owner refuse to pay the last payment for hours worked .So I did the lien knowing she was fixing the place up to sell for 1.8 million.Later I find out while the lien was supposedly in place she was still able to sell the house and I wasn't paid or even notified that it sold how was this possible and what should I due now so I can get paid Thank you Dominic Petty Plz .text or call me . 1-916-793-0116
