Can I file one prelim on multiple invoices for one property?

CaliforniaConstruction ContractMechanics LienPreliminary Notice

If we are billing one owner, for one specific property but multiple jobs, should the prelims and liens be filed separately for each individual job or can they be bulked together? And when bulked together, can the job numbers be referenced as "EDP191-197" or do they have to be individually noted as EDP191, EDP192 etc.. ?

The general rule is based on the number of contracts you have. If you have 1 contract to do multiple things on one property, then you should only need 1 preliminary notice. If you have multiple contracts, then it’s safest to do a preliminary notice for each contract. You want to make sure that all of the work you do is covered. I’m happy to answer any questions you have about this.
