I'm a cleaning vendor operating in Snowshoe WV. I have an outstanding balance do on a property that I currently clean. I have just recently found out the property has been sold and is closing on the 29th of this month. I was told this by the rental management company and not the owner. This gentleman has both a past and current amount due. He has said he will pay the invoice due immediately, however, he refuses to pay. Can I file a mechanics lien against the property while he still owns it? And if yes, what happens to his closing?
