I'm a contractor and my client has stated they're unhappy with the quality of work I provided them. I do not agree. They say they won't pay until I fix it. Can I file a lien?

If you are a general contractor on a residential project, you likely needed to provide a preliminary notice in the initial contract or within 10 days of performing work.
