I am a material supplier and have three jobs within the State of Utah I am preparing to lien. We sold materials to a subcontractor. Much of the balance we are due from the sub contractor is for items that have become part a permanent part of the property (industrial coatings). A portion of the amount we are owed is for the purchase of equipment and tools needed to apply the industrial coatings purchased for the projects we are preparing to lien. Can the portion of the debt we are owed related to equipment and tool purchases be included in the lien?
