I am a Fiber Splicer, I spliced for a company as a sub contractor a few months ago and wanted to see if I am allowed to file a lien.

IdahoWe completed work on a project back in November which we have yet to be paid on. We did not pre-lien this project. However, this project is at the same location and related (but with a separate T&M agreement) to four other projects that we have submitted a pre-lien and filed a lien against. Would it hurt to combined this unpaid amount to one of the liened projects?
NevadaI'm the material supplier for a private job in Alabama furnishing a subcontractor. I a notice to owner in advance of furnishing to obtain a full price lien. The law says the owner can avoid responsibility for a full price lien if it provided a notice before the material is used that it will not be responsible for the price of the material. Does this let them off the hook of a mechanics lien as well? There's no information provided that appears there is a tenant involved, as the owner is contracting this work done.

FloridaGood afternoon! I recently filed a Washington State Mechanics Lien on a homeowner that owes our company money for services rendered in the amount of $5,422.32. The Mechanics Lien has not been filed yet. I unfortunately did not have the homeowner sign a Model Disclosure Statement before the work commenced. I was not aware that we had to do this. Lesson learned. Do we still have lien rights? I did, however, send a Preliminary Notice to the owner but only after I sent the Intent to Lien. 1) First - I sent the Intent To Lien 2) Second - I sent the Preliminary Notice 3)Third - Filed a Mechanics Lien Should I retract the Mechanics Lien if its not going to protect us? Will the Preliminary Notice Suffix our rights to Lien even though it was sent out of order? Without the Model Disclosure being sent first I am concerned that the Mechanics Lien won't stick. I am hoping that the Preliminary Notice will help preserve at least some of our lien rights. I would love your feedback.

WashingtonWe have been working on a multifamily project in NC for months. Since day 1 they have consistently gone to 60 days. Our contract states we have the right to place the GC on credit hold and no longer provide labor or materials until the account is brought current. They refuse to pay the 50% retention that is at 63 days and are at 40 days on the last draw. They now have threatened to terminate us if we do not finish without payment. What are my options? Can I lien for the remainder of my contract? Are they not in default of the contract, not us?

No lost time, no faulty workmanship, etc..Worst time ever to have this done to us with covid 19 going around and we had the rest of this project to finish Please if someone would reach out. IndianaI worked for a General Contractor and we regularly bought material from our personal account and were then reimbursed by the company through expense reports. If the company won't reimburse an expense report can I lien the property?
