What legal options do I have

IndianaChange OrdersConstruction ContractMechanics LienNotice of TerminationRight to Lien

I have an issue with a contractor who rashly terminated our contract today. For zero actual grounds, just that he got pissed off i finally had to go to the GC to get an issue resolved. No lost time, no faulty workmanship, etc..Worst time ever to have this done to us with covid 19 going around and we had the rest of this project to finish Please if someone would reach out. I need some help

When a customer has wrongfully terminated your contract, then pursuing a breach of contract claim can help to make your business whole. Additionally, if you haven't been paid for some of your work on the job, using demand letters, Notices of Intent to Lien, or even filing a mechanics lien could all work to make sure you get paid. But, considering your customer hasn't been responsive and seems to make decisions emotionally, it might be worthwhile to include the project's GC when communicating with your customer about the termination, payment issues, etc. If you need to consult with an attorney about your legal options for moving forward, reaching out to one of these Indiana construction attorneys could be useful.
