Can fiber splicers file a mechanics lien in Texas?

TexasMechanics LienRight to Lien

I am a Fiber Splicer, I spliced for a company as a sub contractor a few months ago and wanted to see if I am allowed to file a lien.

Mechanics liens are available to those who have permanently improved the project property through their work. And, to be sure, an "improvement" will include utility work in Texas. So, those who install cables should generally be entitled to mechanics lien rights. Before jumping right into a mechanics lien filing, though - keep in mind that Texas has strict notice requirements. Plus, tools like invoice reminders, demand letters, and Notices of Intent to Lien can help to recover payment without a lien filing. But, if a lien filing is necessary, these resources will be useful: (1) How to File Your Texas Mechanics Lien – A Step by Step Guide; and (2) Texas Mechanics Lien Guide and FAQs.
