Can I file a notice of furnishing for the state of California
Hi. We are a Levelset customer. I'm wondering how many states, other than California, require a pre-lien notice also be sent to the lender.

ArizonaWhile I know the first day we were on the job, I also know materials were delivered earlier, but I don't know that exact date. Can I use the first day on the job to start the preliminary notice tracking or could that cause trouble down the line?
Texasmy customer appeared to have finished a project so i provided the GC with a Final Uncond waiver in Nov. i now see that they had another rental machine from us on this project for a few weeks in Feb. Do i need to resend the Notice to the Property Owner? this Feb work was all part of the original contract according to the GC. thank you
WashingtonI am a small roofing & waterproofing subcontractor. A MN based contractor hired my company for services on a public project (rest stop owned by WISDOT). The state did not require a bond on this job. The contractor had failed to meet manufacturer warranty requirements and we are the company who handles warranty issues for MN and surrounding states. The inspector marked the defects that needed to be fixed to spec before the warranty could be issued, but did not supply how many (each/lf/sf). We sent an estimate to give pricing for each type of service. It stated that this was not a complete estimate and the final bill would reflect that. The owner was onsite and was aware of the scope of the project. They didn't pay the bill upon completion as required. It took 3 months to get the check and it was only for the amount of the estimate. We have never had non-payment from a client and didn't realize that we had POSSIBLY missed deadlines for the preliminary notice. I did send the intent to lien notice as required. When I read up on liens in WI I was under the impression that in this instance I wasn't required to file the preliminary notice. The notice of intent was sent within the required time frame and I have 10 days to file/send the actual Lien. However, I have also been warned that if I file the lien without having met all the requirements then I open myself up to litigation which I do not want to do. I need to be sure I can file this lien or what recourse is available to me if that is not possible.
WisconsinWe're just starting to send prelims in California and are not sure how to calculate our deadline. If we fabricate our iron pieces as well as install them, is our prelim deadline based on the start of fabrication or the start of installation?
CaliforniaIf we already sent a Preliminary Notice for a contracted amount, do we have to send out a new one every time we get more work from the same customer? Does it expire?
CaliforniaI placed a preliminary notice on a project when S&R Development was our customer. Through some changes, our customer changed from S&R Development to the GC on the project. Do I need to resend new Preliminary notices to show the correct relationship?

FloridaI want to file a lien in a property. We loan money to conduct due diligence to get a construction loan with a promissory note and a deed. The assumption was that once the loan is accepted we would be paid, the due date was 6 months ago and I don't feel comfortable waiting anymore. We filed the deed and we keep receiving promises of payment every week.
I want to use the correct lien form, could you advise what that form is?

CaliforniaWe don't currently have a mechanism to record the first date that we supply materials or labor to a site when we are a subcontractor. However we usually require a down payment upon placement of an order, or when we don't we would be invoicing within a couple weeks of first supplying materials or labor. Could we use the first invoice date as a trigger for sending the statutory notice to the property owner? Does the statutory notice have to list the date of first supply? (This is for any state that requires statutory notice - not GA as it made me pick a state below.)
GeorgiaMy question is regarding Pre-lien notices for Sub-Tiers on a project in WA. We have a sub contractor that has around 34 sub-tiers and 8 of them have filed Pre-Lien notices do we need to collect all 34 or just the 8?
WashingtonI have 4 contracts for one project. I am in the process of doing a bond claim. I did a pre lien on 2 of those contracts, can I included the total dollar amount due in my bond claim?
