If we already sent a Preliminary Notice for a contracted amount, do we have to send out a new one every time we get more work from the same customer? Does it expire?

the 20 day notice is for specific contracted work. If you execute a new contract for new work for the same client a new notice is needed. if you are working on the original job and additional work is being required you should make sure there is a signed change order so that it is covered by the original preliminary notice.
