on a commercial job, how long after your last day on the job can you send out a prelien? Thanks
NevadaWe have a federal job in Nevada where we are the subcontractor and I want to make sure we are sending all required documents. Could you please provide me with a list of documents we need to send in order to protect our payment?
NevadaI did mittigation on a hoi claim...my last day was june 1, 2019...the total project was done by june 9, 2019. In las vegas, nv. Is their anything i can do at this point...i think my 90 days are up...i wondering if their is anything i can do and if i file a lien can i win?

We are wondering about the Preliminary Notice - date labor or materials first delivered – Would this include office labor or is it specific to labor and materials delivered for a job? We start ordering materials and start working on the project before it hits the field but does that count?

NevadaWe are a rental fence company. We do a lot of our business through email. About a year ago we got a job for rental fence from a lady named Julie VonKohn with the signature on every email saying Julie VonKohn Executive Assistant Machine Guns Vegas. We named the Job Machine Guns Vegas. The place they had us put the fence up was leased house. They sent an email telling us they wanted to cancel the fence because they where terminating their lease with with the owner. Since then they haven't paid. We liened the property. They have called and said that we are using the wrong name on the lien. It is suppose to be XBoat Ride LLC. This is the first I have heard this name. He said that Machine Guns wont stand up in court.? Not sure what I should do. The lien is on the property and the company name is Machine Guns.

NevadaI'm the owner. Painter paint the kitchen the last 14th. I have ordered my bank same day to pay him for the remaining balance 385$ for a total work of 3385$. Bank has issued a check by 19th, it takes 3 to 5 days to be received.

NevadaOn a residential project in Nevada, we have 90 days from the last day labor was provided to file a Notice of Lien, correct? However, I'm also seeing if we file a Notice of Intent to Lien, that extends our deadline by 15 days to file the lien. If our last day worked was 7/2/19, 90 days from then would be 9/30/19. We filed a Notice of Intent to Lien, so does that mean our deadline is extended 15 days from 9/30/19 to 10/15/19?

NevadaHello, I have three questions with respect to the Conditional Waiver and Release Upon Progress Payment and Final Payment Forms. For context, I am a property owner and would like to limit liability from both tort claims and non-payment by my general contractor ("GC") or his suppliers/subcontractors ("SS"). I only contract with/pay my GC directly, he then pays the related suppliers/subs.
1. For the conditional waiver and release upon progress payment form, must I require my GC to get a release form signed by each of his SS for every progress payment?
2. Can I instead have the GC sign one conditional payment form in which he agrees to pay all SS and indemnify me from any liens or other claims any SS might bring against me? This way I can just have the GC list the names of all SS to one Conditional waiver/release form instead of requiring 10+ each time.
3. If I can't do #2, can I at least do this for the final payment release?. I want to put the responsibility on the GC to ensure all SS are paid and have no grievances/claims (payment or injury) against my property resulting from the construction since he was in direct contact with them, managed the construction site, and is in the best position to ensure payment/prevent injuries/claims arising from his conduct or SS.
NevadaI’m a subcontractor in Nevada. I did work for a home preservation company based in Dallas Texas. They have a net30 day policy and it’s been well over two months. I put a lot of time and effort into this job,money out of my pocket as well which is why I feel like I just can’t let that slide
NevadaI had work done on my home but the work was sub par compared to what it was supposed to be done on their parts. I asked them to fix/repair the damages they did on my home and they refused to do so, then completing the whole process for a mechanics lien. I have no problem paying the amount on the lien I just want the work finished right. How would I fight this in Nevada. Is a written contract required under Nevada law?
