I did some work to a residential home it started in may 2020 the house was so bad the gentleman that lived in the home the state would not allow him to go back in to that house till it was cleaned up so we made init so that the front rooms where goid fir him to come home that was in June so I would go over and work here and there this man was convinced that he was going to get better and he was going to go back to work I have done work for this gentleman a few times so I know he would pay me we have finished the up stairs by OCT So we where going to start the down stairs His wife gave me rmtge vad news him passing a way she asked if I would hold off on the down stairs I said sure this was the end of Oct 2020 I called her to see when she would like to finish the down stairs she said give her a month I had another job I told her the middle of December 2020 she said that was fine so we finished the job Dec 21 2020 well his wife Told me that his brother is fighting her to get it all and they are going through probate the brother got administrator to hand the estate so his wife said that she would pay me I don’t hear any thing all of Jan 2020 so I made the decision to go put a lien on the property that was in Feb I did what I was told to do the first intent I gave them in feb and got no respond so I waited till till April and that is when I sent them another intent to lien and went to clerk of records to file I did that in April . The end of April 2021 well the middle of SEPTEMBER I GET A CALL FROM THE TITEL PEOPLE TELLING ME THAT THEY NEED TO VERIFY MY SIGNATURE SO I CAN GET PAID I SAID SURE WHEN SHE SAID THEY ARE CLISING ON THE HOUSE SEPTEMBER 30th she would get back to me well I didn’t hear from her so I called and asked when she needed me to come down there to vilify my signature. She said tgat I don’t have to come in the lien is no good and it has been removed they ant paying me the probate lawyer told her it ant no good she is going with that the lien was removed and she was not disgusting it any father the lien was removed . I WAS FLOORED SO THE BEXT DAY I GO TO COUNT DENVER CLERK RECORDERS OFFICE AND ASKED HOW THEY GOT THAT LEIN REMOVED FROM TGAT PROPERTY AND I WAS NOT NOTIFIED THE CLECK TOLD ME THE LIEN IS STILL IN PLACE I GOT A MONTH TO GET A JUDGEMENT PUTBON THAT PROPERTY AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THAT AND THE ARE SALING THE HOME SEPT 30?. What should I do. And now that they are being messed up I want to know can I add interest on that and is it 8 % or 12% what ever it is in Colorado and can I add the lawyer fees to plz let me know if you all can help me thank you ...Read More

I did work at this residential home we started in may 2020 the owner came home from being sick in June 2020 so we went back and did little shit here and there in oct he past away and they had a Admenastrater from probate court handing the estate we’ll miss Hewitt wanted me to finish up the work so I did and it was done dec 2020 MISS HEWITT SAID TO GO TO THE Admenastrater she is thr own handing the estate she never paid me so feb 2021 I sent a intent to lien didn’t get any response so April 5 I sent another one and 10 days later I went and filed the lien with Denver Clerk recorder she said the lien was good and they would file it so I get a call this week it is the title company asking me to verify my signature so they can pay me because they are asking the property on Sept 30 2021 I said sure she said she would get at me at the end of the week so we can get this done well she calls back and tells me that the lien was pulled it was no goid and they ant paying me the attorney that is handling the estate in probate to the tile company that DONT worry about the lean it was no good to sale the home I went back to county clerk recorder to see if the lien was still there it is so now I would like to know how do I put a judgement on the property ...Read More

I have done every thing this job started may 2020 we did part of the job by June 2020 the owner just got home from hospital did work here and there oct 2020 went back to complete the job and the owner had died so we did some more work the wife asked if we could come back in December and finish the job and she will take care of us so December 21 2020 we completed the job and the wife said I would have to go to the HEWITT ESTATE TO GET PAID SO I GOT AHOKD OF TGE ADMENASTRATER THAT WAS HANDLING THE HEWITT ESTATE AND TRYED TO GET PAID BY HER SHE WAS NOT PAYING IT EITHER SO I DID A INTENT TO LIEN IN FEB I WAIT 2 months NO ANSWER SO I DID THE MECHANIC LEAN I SENT A NITHER INTENT TO LIEN NO ANSWER SO APRIL I FILED THE LIEN WITH DENVER COUNTY CLERKS RECORDERS I GET A CALL FROM THE TITEL PEOPLE TI VERIFY MY SIGNATURE I SAID NO PROBLEM SHE SAID SHE WOULD GET BACK TO ME TO VERIFY MY SIGNATURE I SAID THAT WAS FINE SHE SAID THEY ARE SALING THE HOUSE ON THE SEPT 30 SO AFTER MY SIGNATURE WAS VERIFIED THEY WOUKD PAYME I SAID GREAT. Hired Plains Building Systems on April 14th, Signed a contract and gave them a Material deposit for $16,125.00 they said they were 14-16 weeks out To build my building and spoke to Jeremy Carter on Aug 12th and he never mentioned anything about closing his doors and going out of business , This building was to House all of my belongings while I built my home, I did not resign my current lease and it is up next month, I believe Jeremy Carter never ordered my material and new all along he was going to close down and took my money and multiple other people's money, His personal home is up for sale and I would like to put a lien against it to secure my money ? I am a project manager. I was hired to find a gc, all subs and all supplies for basement remodeling. Client decided to not pay anything above what I paid out and we lost 20,000.00 that we were really planning on when we got nixed from the job. On a deadline of a baby due date we busted our tails to complete on time. The drywaller that was hired through another gc on the project (framer) , was paid in full and decided to go to the homeowner and say he was not. He ransomed the job for almost a month. So to be done in time,, we hired our team to go in a knock it out with us.. We bought all supplies and half way through he shows up. He talked bad about all of our work (that was not complete!!!) and the homeowner listened to him and not me. Not sure why. He told him that it all needed to come down, drywall and all. (He hung the drywall btw) HO heard he could finish faster and not only paid him AGAIN, but paid him 5000.00 to tear out everything we did. It only needed to be sanded and thats all he did.. He never removed anything! HO said he'd take care of it, and we could go. Mind blown. I think my only option is to file a lein to be reimbersed. Is that correct? I put in 3 months of work on this job. We did everything. We hired electrician, plumber, hvac, bathroom, carpet (which I canceled) framer, insulation and GC. I applied for and obtained permits, and met inspectors, with GC and was there for every thing that needed to be done. My team was there, my company was very much responsible for the successfully completed jobs. We need to pay the people who werent paid in the process. We hired a general contractor to remodel do 2 bathrooms. After he said he was done we noticed issues with his work. He didn’t do what he was hired to do. The wall was not completely done the bathroom door was not hung properly and the shower didn’t drain properly. We brought these to his attention and he came out a couple more times and didn’t fix any of the issues he refused the redo the shower floor and only did half of the wall and didn’t touch the door. He once again said he was done with the project There is more to the issues regarding tearing out the bathroom months before he starting the construction etc We had to hire someone else to fix his mistakes and now he is putting a lien on the house for the final payment that we didn’t pay since he didn’t do the work properly as promised ...Read More
