Lien eFiling facilitates the electronic filing of lien documents via the Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Cooperative Authority eFile portal at https://efile.gsccca.org/Home.aspx. The Authority can accept lien documents for filing on behalf of participating counties using two different methods:

METHOD 1: Interested filers can contact one of the value added submitters listed below, who have demonstrated the ability to submit lien documents through the Authority portal. Payment for filings will be handled through an agreement with the selected value added submitter.

METHOD 2: All payments for filings submitted directly through the Authority eFile portal must be paid by credit card, bank account ACH transfer or escrow account. Note that a 3.5% transaction fee is applied to credit card payments and a $1.00 transaction fee is applied to bank account ACH transfers to cover costs.

The Clerk of Dougherty Superior Court’s Office does not publicly disclose information on recording backlog.

The Dougherty County Clerk of Court’s recording fees are as follows:

Miscellaneous Real Estate filings: $10.00 for the first page, $2.00 for each additional page and $2.00 per reference

For recording instrument that includes a request to cancel, satisfy, or release more than one real estate instrument the fee shall
be as follows: $10.00 per instrument being cancelled, satisfied or released, $2.00 per cross indexing of each instrument and $ 2.00 each additional page

General Execution or Lien Recording: $5.00 for the first page, $2.00 for each additional page and $2.00 per reference

Cancellation or Release: $5.00 for the first page, $2.00 for each additional page and $2.00 per reference

Materialmen’s Lien/Cancellation: $5.00 for the first page, $2.00 for each additional page and $2.00 per reference

Hospital Lien/Cancellation: $5.00 for the first page, $2.00 for each additional page and $2.00 per reference

Federal/State Tax Lien: $5.00 for the first page, $2.00 for each additional page and $2.00 per reference

Real Estate Notice Filing (all UCC’s1 & 3 aka old (UCC-2): $5.00 for the first and $2.00 for each additional page

Copy fees are as follows:

In order to print images you are required to have an account. If you would like to get an account you can contact the local Clerk of Courts office at 229-431-2198 to apply. If you do not have an account but would still like to search you may do so using the built in guest account.

Every user must have an account to view and print images. The monthly charge for a regular account is $11.95. The cost to subscribe for a Single-Use account is a one-time activation fee of $5.00. However, a Single-Use account can be upgraded to a Regular account any time before the account expires.

The images may be viewed without charge and may be printed for a charge of $0.50 per page. Any method of accessing the images other than by printing is strictly prohibited.
