We filed a notice of intent to file a lien and submitted it to Feuer Powertrain of North America Inc. (our reference number 7507326) for some construction work we completed this year and have not been paid. After some email correspondence and a conference call on 4/13/22, we still have received no monies for the work. The total amount we are owed is $100,586.00. I assume we are now ready to file a lien. How is this completed? Thanks.
MississippiI am a General Contractor working on a construction job for a customer in Falkner MS. In March of 2021 I contracted America First Steel dba All American Steel Building to design and provide the pre engineered building kit. The building kit was delivered November of 2021, paid in full. Once we erected the main structure supporting columns we started to install the metal wall panels and noticed they were not lining up with the wainscoting. We immediately contacted America First Steel and were told to “manipulate the panels”, which is 100% not the correct way to fix a huge alignment issue. We then found out the manufacturer was Metal Sales Mfg, we contacted them directly since AFS was not helping. Metal Sales sent out Ron Gaitlin which is their TSM to do an inspection on site and write a report. While on site, Ron Gaitlin told us this is obviously a manufacturing error. To date we have not had this resolved and construction has been halted for over a month while waiting for their “internal investigation.” I have all supporting documents and recordings. Building was paid for in full.
MississippiI was hired by a sub and hung sheetrock, insulated walls, taped, bed coated all and skimmed half of it and was told that my sub had a meeting with the GC and owner and they said I couldn't finish on time, even though this was the first I'd heard about a deadline, and they told me to pack up my tools and leave. Now no one will tell where the money for what I've done is.

MississippiWe had our roof replaced in 2015 with a roofing company, who we signed a contract with. Our insurance reviewed the proposal submitted by this roofing company, since our roof was damaged by storm. The insurance approved and paid for the service. However, the company went out of business months later. I just learned from my lender, since we're trying to refinance that a mechanic lien was filed against us, from the sub-contractor that the roofing company hired..how can we be responsible for paying who the roofing company sub-contracted, since they didn't pay them directly and have since went out of business? How can we get this removed and move forward, with refinancing our home?

MississippiI live in my fathers home that he owns he has not lived here in three years but the bills stayed in his name i just pay them. I have done over 15000 in repairs such as a new roof new bathroom floor kitchen floor and a 400 sq foot add on that he has only giving me 300$ since repairs have been complete. Now he wants me too move out but dont wanna pay me oh yeah we never signed a lease agreement as well as he lives in another state...how do i get paid and is it worth my time our relationship isnt healthy and im his only child at that....

Now his dad is threatening to press charges because he said he put some of the parts in the car including the motor. Can he do that? He said he would file a mechanics lein on it.
