My contract was terminated by the GC due to non performance of a sub contractor I hired to complete some work on the site. Up to this point, I had not violated the terms of the sub contract agreement. They issued a termination letter and now they want me to sign a full release although I am still owed money for the work that has been completed up until the termination. The remaining balance that was left on the contract was approximately 65K and prior to being terminated, I had invoiced for 11k dollar which was left unpaid.
