Does having sex with a client affect a laborers/ contractors lien rights or entitlement to payments?
I had consensual sex with a client, Client does not want to pay and has been trying to use sex as a negotiable instrument instead which Is supposed to be unlawful and to which I would never agree too. I was pretty much pressured by the client to have sex with her in order to obtain the contract. Then, once the client became overtop annoying, and begin to interfere with my opportunities to acquire new clients I terminated the sex which led to a non stop harassment campaign in her desperate attempt to compel me to change mind.

Does subcontractor on residential renovation have lien rights? Notice of Lien is dated 8/10/20 for work last allegedly done in April 2020. If lien is filed, is it defective as untimely? Is unidentified subcontractor exposed to suit for damages? Thank you.
TennesseeI'm a licences electrical contractor in TN. I was hired by the property owner to do complete residential electrical work under a contract agreement. With a payment agreement to be made in full upon completion of work. We pulled a permit through the required office and began work. We have now passed the final inspection with the AHJ. However, the home owner had given a check for a significant amount less than the final invoice and contract agreement. What can/should I do now
TennesseeI am the prime general contractor in Tennessee providing restoration services, I have a client that had a $27K plus invoice for mitigation work, the insurance only paid $13K, I explained to her our contract is not with insurance, however it was with her and her business, any balance would be her responsibility. We have sent several certified letters, attempted several calls to resolve the matter without any luck, trying to identify the best way to protect my interest for the balances owed to us. The business is very fluid, with a strong reputation and possess high cash flow.
TennesseeI have a rental house. The tenants called me about a water leak they caused and told me they contacted a water mitigation company to clean up the damage. This work was done before I was notified of the water leak. The contractor tried to intimidate me into signing a contract and I refused. I told him to have the tenant sign it since they were the ones that contacted him. The contractor did no work after the initial water mitigation. My homeowners insurance company paid the contractor $15,331.42 for their work. Now the contractor is threatening me with a lien if I don't pay him $5,089.14 more. He has been harassing me and is now sending me invoices for payment. Can he put a lien on my house after he has been paid? I contacted my insurance company and they said the contractor and the claims adjustor worked together to negotiate the payment amount of $15,331.42. Please help me!!

TennesseeMy cousin rented out his spare car to me. The deal was that he would pay for any repairs and fluids that the car needed while in my possession. He did not do that. Ive had the car about 8 to 9 months. Ive had to put 5 serpentine belts on it since ive been paying for this car weekly. I had to buy 20 bottles of power steering fluid. I had to replace the power steering high pressure line and return line twice. I paid for parts and labor on all of this now he is saying that he's going to call the police if i dont return the vehicle. I just made a payment 3 days ago.

I hired and paid my general contractor for the service on my primary home. The general contractor hired a sub-contractor to perform the job but did not pay the sub. Now the sub is threatening to sue the general contract AND put a lien on my home (primary owner-occupied residence).
Under the described circumstances, can the sub put a lien on my home?
