We have completely transformed this place! New siding roof deck kitchen 2 bathrooms flooring painting in and out new doors and the list goes on. What can I do?
North CarolinaI am a drywall & painting subcontractor, that I did a job to SAMET Corporation in a project in Raleigh, NC, I did lien the property, and also, I been contacted by SAMET layer saying I own SAMET money, and also, they want to go to Arbitration. SAMET attorney is Brett M. Becker from Nexsen Pruet, PLLC. That is a easy case, I have lots of proofs on my favor and they breach the contract. Somebody contact me by email and I will feel it up with more details.

North CarolinaWe did time and material work for Brantley Construction. They issued us a po based on time and material but not a specific dollar amount. We sent a total of 5 payment apps with the last one being on 11/12/21. We were paid for the first three apps. There has never been any contact about any problems with the work or the billings. I am getting excuses every time I actually hear back from them. The last time was on May 11th when I was promised that payment would go out that week.
What can we do to collect this $20,510?

North CarolinaWe are a general contractor working on a residential project. We just fired a subcontractor for failure to perform service to our agreed upon quality standard. The issues are well documented and have been continuous throughout the project. We paid them for all work done so far, but reduced the 3rd draw payment by the value of the labor and materials to repair some of their many mistakes, and docked them the field supervisor fees for the third draw of the contract as they had not actually supervised the field, resulting in many issues. The errors were significant and expensive. They have not signed a lien waiver. We realized walking away that we should have had them sign one before we paid them. We have never had to fire a sub before. We have an arbitration agreement in the contract.
