He requested me to do some payment but did not provide me invoice, and I requested him to provide me the project on-going list to against the payment. We are an electrical subcontractor working on a public works project and for no reason the GC is trying to cancel our signed contract. The GC asked our electricians to leave the jobsite, mid day the other day and will not let us return. The GC will not give us a reason and will not return my calls. I paid a contractor $15,000 as a deposit on a $40,000 renovation project at my house. The contractor completed no work and says he cannot refund my money because he spent it on materials that he then used on another job.
