i have not been paid from my last 3 invoices sent on Nov. 1st. 2020
NevadaWe have a contract with a gc on a private commercial building. I am having trouble collecting information on the owner to file our preliminary notice but our contract mentions a bond (I also have not been given information on the bond company) do I still need to file a preliminary notice? How do I go about getting the information I need? What if they don't give me the information within the 20 days of starting work?
NevadaI'm a contractor, we had issues with a job so we ended up filing a lien and the the owners took us to the Contractors board, so we do have to fix the issues in the shower(tile) but do we keep the lien on the property or do we remove it and see if they pay us after we fix the issues?

Have a customer where 31 day intent to liens were mailed with only the Subcontractor information, do I still have lien rights? Customer has not paid their bill and they are approaching the 90 day deadline from last shipment date.
NevadaFiled a lien through Levelset though it didn't get recorded until Nov. 8th and the property was sold to a new buyer on October 24th. New buyer doesn't want to pay it. Can we enforce it with the new buyer?
NevadaWe were selected to be on a reality renovation show in Nevada and after reveal discovered they used cheap materials, completed horrible work, and caught their workers stealing on camera, visiting the home after hours with their family, smoking in home, and discovered work on the SOW was not completed. We paid almost $200K upfront and now they are disputing what they will repair/fix as part of the punch list. Please help!
NevadaWe filed for a notice of intent to be sent as well as a lien, but they sent them out of sequence. The lien has been sent to the recorder and the notice of intent has yet to be sent to the customer. If I understand correctly, it is mandatory that the notice of intent is received first.

I read your very helpful guidance on Mechanics Lien on the Levelset website and would like your help if we go ahead but first I have a question on eligibility.
We supplied lights to the value of $700,000 to a company in Las Vegas. The company has paid half the purchase price but is trying to delay payment of the remaining $350,000.
The lights will be installed in the event space of one of the big hotels on the strip but at the moment they are in our client's warehouse.
Here's the question: our client will lease the lights to the hotel on a long lease so the hotel will not own them. Can we claim that these lights constitute a permanent improvement to the hotel and register a lien on them?

NevadaWe were working on a project until we were put on hold on April 2019 and have not worked on it at all but the project wasn't cancelled until June 2020. Which date should we use for the notice of intent to lien? This is for a project on a military base in Nevada.
NevadaWe final billed a client, who is a GC, that has reliably paid us at the start of the project. We final billed them over 60 days ago and then for the retainer over 30 days and have not received payment. Our contract with them says they pay within 10 days of receiving payment from their client. They have been open about when they and when they have not received payment from their client. The owner of the company is concerned about his lien rights in this situation. How should we proceed?

NevadaI am a subcontractor on a high-rise construction defect remodel project. Work was completed, we have retention invoices in to be paid, but the Home owners association seems to be dragging their feet on paying the final payments. We are closing in on liens needing to be filed. All work was done in common areas, nothing in individual units. I sent intent to liens to the Association and General, do we need to lien the units as well?
