I had a lien placed on my property (MORTGAGE) from a delivery service affiliated with my fathers restaurant in Sanford, ME in 2014, and I am just learning of it today. I had no ownership of this restaurant. I haven't worked there since I was a kid. However, my father and I share a name, which was the name of the restaurant. I do have a different middle name, but they assigned the lien to me anyway without proper notice or checking to verify the owner. They blindly assigned the lien to me. I've been in touch with the assigned lawyer of the creditor, and they are making this difficult for me to verify my identity vs my fathers identity. I don't speak to my father.
