What option should I choose for the question what payment terms my company is with the customer in the preliminary notice?

CaliforniaConstruction ContractPreliminary Notice

In the preliminary notice document, there is a question about what terms my company established with the customer (in this case a General Contractor) and three options: get paid when they get paid, get paid when we invoice, and another one that I can't recall right now. Our company don't have any term written in a contract about that and I am looking for advise for what would be the best option, taking into consideration we are subcontractors.

California preliminary notices don't require that a specific contract type be identified on the notice. After all, written contracts aren't even required in CA to send prelims and preserve lien rights. So, generally, that's not really required information if you're looking to send CA preliminary notices. Further, the Expert Center is designed for construction law and construction payment questions. For questions relating to the Levelset platform or specific Levelset orders, you should contact the Levelset Support team or your account manager.
