CaliforniaMechanics LienNotice of Intent to Lien

Since I sent the intent to lien, now what since they have not paid? How do I actually place the Lien?

When a claimant remains unpaid - even after sending a document like a Notice of Intent to Lien - often, the next step will be to file a mechanics lien. While it's unfortunate when a lien must be filed, lien filings aren't always avoidable. Generally, filing a mechanics lien will be as simple as filling out a lien form, bringing or mailing that form to the county recorder's office for recording, and then providing notice of the lien claim. There are some additional details to that process that are helpful to know, though, and the following resources do a great job of breaking down every aspect of the process for filing a California mechanics lien: - How to File A California Mechanics Lien – Step By Step Guide To Get You Paid - California Mechanics Lien Guide and FAQs
