What should someone do in a state with no lean laws

For someone who is not allowed on property because of dv situation and lien keeps me from sailing I have sent demand letters o/ please give notification of any monies owed letters certified mail, delivered, with no response. It's been 10 years and I just lost my daughter and need the monies from my property to help .with funeral expensives??

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, but it sounds like you might be confused about what mechanics liens (also called construction liens) are and what this website is for. There are most certianly lien laws in North Carolina, and the deadline to enforce a mechanics lien in NC is 180 days as explained in this article here: https://www.levelset.com/mechanics-lien/north-carolina-lien-law-faqs/. 10 years is well past NC's 3 year statute of limitations on debt collection.
