How long do we have to file a lien claim in the state of Nevada.

Nevada

We have 90 days to file a lien claim after the project completion in LevelSet. My boss thought it was 30. Asking for clarification.

The deadline to file a lien in Nevada can be found under NRS §108.226(1). The general filing deadline is 90 days from either project completion, or the claimant's last date of furnsihing labor/materials to the project; whichever is later. And, once filed, a copy of the claim must be served on the property owner (and the GC if the claimant is a subcontractor) within 30 days of filing.

Note, however, if a Notice of Completion has been filed and served, then the deadline to file is shortened to just 40 days after the Notice of Completion was filed.

Here are some additional resources that may prove useful:

Alex is spot on. Your boss may have been thinking of the California deadlines which are 90 das from "actual completion" or 30 days from the recording of a notice of completion.

Alex is correct. Just make sure you follow through with the statutory requirements to perfect your lien rights. This makes you case so much stronger and gives you leverage towards getting your money sooner, rather than later.
