Do I need to file an amended NOI on a Colorado job?

ColoradoMechanics LienNotice of Intent to Lien

We sent an NOI and filed a Lien on a job in Colorado, without Prime Contractor info. We now have that information and are still well within our lien rights period. We have already previously asked the legal team what to do and they said the correct process is to release the lien and refile an "amended lien" as the original lien statement. We have released the lien and are about to order the NOI and then wait the 10 days to file the amended lien. My question is, can I order an NOI normally in levelset, or do I need to send an "amended" NOI the same as I have to send an amended lien?

There's not really an "amended NOI" document in Colorado, so I can't imagine that sending a Notice of Intent that specifically notes it's an amended notice will be required. Rather, sending an ordinary Notice of Intent to Lien that contains all of the necessary and required information should be sufficient to preserve mechanics lien rights before pursuing another mechanics lien.
