We are a contractor, we were hired to do mitigation work for water damage and mold damage asbestos removal, and reconstruction in a residential home. We have been working with insurance and settled for all mitigation work. The client wants to keep the money per our estimates and has fired us for the portion of the repairs although the contract was signed in January. We are seeking to collect for all work completed to date which is asbestos and mold (water is already paid) the adjuster just released the remaining funds.
