James A. Kee, Jr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1958 and raised in Decatur, Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University in 1981 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. While attending Auburn, Mr. Kee was selected for membership in the Omicron Delta Kappa honorary society. In response to your question, the filing of a mechanics/materialman lien is a very effective tool at getting paid quickly if the home is fixing to be sold. The lien needs to be filed asap so that it is recorded in probate BEFORE the home is sold so that it will be picked up on a title search. See More...See More...
