The lien was mailed to homeowner but returned to Zlien. The homeowner has not received a copy. The General Contractor received a copy, but we are the GC and filed the lien. We'd like to confirm if any additional action is needed to fully serve the homeowner?
GeorgiaI have been working on a job as a subcontractor.the job was for 14000.by my notice from a app I had to prime and 2 coat all painted surfaces.all stained surfaces was 1 coat stain one coat of clear.with no drywall patching.
The builder asked me to patch all drywall so we could move foward with our finish coat of paint.my boss Prodigity painting did not want responsibility for this project so the builder ask me if I would be willing to handle it.I stated as long as all my men's time as well as mine would be paid by the builder then I would do it.after that I was added a extra coat of clear on all stain work and to caulk all interior panels and to bonsai all window casings and door casings .over 4000 in extra time of labor for me and my men.my boss Prodigity then fired me and would not allow me to come back and finish the interior in which he owed me a additional 3500.i just want my money for the extra work.how do I get my money I have people wanting to take me to court for there money and I don't no what to do.plz help
GeorgiaI have worked on this property for three + years, however in the last few months they haven't been paying us and the property is supposed to close on December 27, 2018 and I am concerned that we will not have enough time before closings. If the closing happens before they are property notified who becomes responsible for the unpaid invoices<

GeorgiaI filed a mechanics lien on house in GA for work that myself and my girlfriend did. The owner paid us 9000 out of 25000, do we are still owed 16000. After lien was filed, two weeks later the house was sold and we didn't get rest of money. He is coming up with lies just so he can try to get away from not paying us. A demand letter was sent on our behalf with little response. We are at a stand still, we don't know what step to take next.

GeorgiaContractor did substandard work, asked to leave. We hired someone to repair the damage he did then told him the amount we would pay which is the bal. due to him, less what we paid to have his work repaired.
He thinks he should still be paid in full even though his people tore our new shingles, used rotten, moldy OSB, and didn’t use the right pitch to prevent leaks....leaking even before they were finished.

GeorgiaI made deal with roofer through emails. May 7th I attached USAA statement that stated my high deductible and $3541.18 insurance check amount and to send them final invoice once work is complete. In that email i stated my deductible is way higher than I expected. We finally came to deal I pay $2k from my next pay check which I have paid him. Then when I get the $3541.18 insurance check I'll send that to him but I can't afford anymore I don't have extra cash. I got email today $15k lien on my house after USAA told him they won't pay him anymore his quote was less than there's. Am I liable for all that or what I agreed to with him in my emails total of $5541.18? I originally was willing to pay him more even though I told him u agreed to this deal. What's my rights here? Plus his spelling of my street is wrong and he has wrong names on his lien compared to the deed.

GeorgiaThis is the scenario:
There is our company that installs racks.
There is our CLIENT-A that also installs racks but hired us to do it.
There is his client that hired him to install the racks.
We worked. Our job was completed over 2 weeks ago. Our client doesn't want to pay.
He won't answer e-mails, phone calls or text messages from our recruiters or admins.
Sometimes he answers and if he hears our voice he hangs up.
I have another client - we will call it CLIENT-B, they recommended CLIENT-A to us but at some point they had a similar issue, and they also had to file a lien on them too. They recommended this page to me because the way she explained it was that the lien went on his client which is a big deal because he does not want to get in trouble with his own clients.
What are our options?
