Worker’s Comp Case

California

I’m a contractor that has been ordered by the court to pay on a worker’s comp case, I did come to an agreement on a payment plan but unfortunately at this moment I don’t have jobs to continue making payments and if I don’t I will default on payment plan and they will report me to CSLB and have my license suspended making my situation more complicated I’m trying to just get by paying my rent and bills. Is there anything I can do?

Hi, thank you for reaching out to the Levelset community. Did your insurance company not assign you an attorney during the worker's comp lawsuit? This is not legal advice, but it's generally considered prudent to reach out to the lawyer who is already familiar with your situation. Your question might be too specific for an attorney to answer in this public forum. If you are uninsured, then you may wish to consider consulting an attorney privately. Here are some attorneys from our directory in your state: https://www.levelset.com/payment-help/experts/construction-lawyer/california/

Although it is not legal advise, it is typically seen as wise to contact the attorney who is already familiar with your case. madalin stunt cars
