Our company was hired by a construction company to install some landscape lighting for the homeowner. Our contract is with the construction company. We have not received payment and would like to place a lien, however, we are unsure on who to place the lien on. The new homeowner (the home has sold since we last did work there) or the construction company that we were contracted with. If it is the construction company how do we go about placing a lien as we don't have an actual person and we only have a business address.
