Who can file a lien on a company's behalf?

ColoradoRight to Lien

My former Office Manager is attempting to place false liens on my customers property's through Levelset. All being done without being the company owner, executive or any form of approval from myself the owner of the company. Levelset has allowed this to happen without confirmation of any sort. This will have a HUGE lasting effect on my business. What can you do to help me?

If the company is an entity, an authorized agent of the entity may file. If this office manager is no longer working for the company, they certainly don't have authorization to act on behalf of the company, as a legal matter.

The attorneys who answer on this site do not work for Levelset. What your laywer can do for your company is to draft a demand to this former office manager that they must release the liens (your attorney would draft the form for them to file) or they will be sued for multiple claims. In addition to civil claims, the recording a mechanics’ lien where no such right exists can subject the party recording the improper lien to criminal action. Your attorney's demand would likely get them to sign and file the releases.
