I have filled out the Notice of Subcontract and am preparing to send it to the registry of deeds in Massachusetts. Do I have to have the Notice of Subcontract served to the relevant parties *before* I file it at the Registry of Deeds?
If this is a subcontractor's lien under G.L. c. 254 s. 4, you give notice to the owner that you have recorded the Notice of Contract after you record it.
