Depending on your scope of work, you have up to 120 days to record the actual mechanics lien: at least 10 days before that you must have served a notice of intent. A lot depends on the value of the project. You will also want to verify that the items you claimed are items that are able to be liened in Colorado. Mechanic's liens can be expensive, so other better options may exist.
