What recourse does the property owner have against my mechanics lien ?
VermontI filed a intent to file a lien, now the property owner is threatening to take me to court if I proceed.

If you file a lien, the property owner can sue you to have the lien removed. But the only way for you to enforce a lien is to file a lawsuit in court anyway, so if you're prepared to record the lien you should also be prepared to enforce it in court.
