There are 2 jobs in question, one in the state of NY and the other in NJ. We are a manufacturing company that fabricates custom displays and kiosks and ships them to our customers, the general contractors on the jobs. Our question is what date do we use as the first labor/material furnishing date. In our attempt to research and from the following link provided to us by a Levelset Rep below, it appears this highly depends on state rules and if we provide fabrication work prior to shipment in which we do. So in our case, I wanted to clarify if we should use the date we shipped material or if we should use the date when we first started fabrication work/provided labor or possibly job acceptance date?
