What happens when a client wants to cancel a contract because of the work layoffs? How can we address lost revenue due to the closing of workplaces?

The client may have a right under the contract to cancel. And your right to recover lost revenue will depend upon your rights under the contract and whether you performed any work. To provide any more specific information would require a review of your contract and more details about any work performed.
