Can a contractor file a Mechanics lien that's license/ not licensed in Louisiana? The contractor refused payment after he was fired for incomplete work, non-attendance and damages to property while installing entry and closets doors.
An unlicensed contractor does not have lien rights. He can file a lien, but he would not be able to enforce it.
