What forms does a Florida General Contractor requires a Notary Stamp? Is this connected to any Permits?

Florida

I just met a Florida General Contractor at a Carvel Ice Cream store in Ft. Lauderdale. He informed me he can use my service as a Mobile Notary for 2 forms. One form required a single Notary Stamp and the other form required 2 Notary Stamps. Since I just met him and I forgot which forms, and I do NOT want to call him as I would appear very UNPROFESSIONAL (actually stupid) can you help me? Are these forms about certain Permits which require a Notary Stamp?? Mr. Len

Mr. Len,

Since the person needs to sign in your presence, you may just wait for him to sign and then ask him which one is the form that requires two stamps. Since the stamp and the notary signature are always required, the document "needing two stamps" is the document having two signatures.

You do not need to know everything, and anyone can forget a detail like the one you mentioned so do not worry. You may say, "excuse me, I remember you mentioned that one of the forms required two stamps but I do not recall which one was it. Since two signatures is usually not required, I want to make sure that I provide the two stamps in the correct document."

No need to worry; you don't have to remember everything and anyone can forget a specific detail like the one you mentioned. Some of you may object, "Forgive me, but I'm quite sure you said one of the forms needed two stamps, but I can't for the life of me remember which one it was. Even though two signatures are not required for most documents, I still want to be careful about where I stamp my name and the date."
