Generally, no - interest, fees, costs, etc. shouldn't be included in a Michigan mechanics lien. Rather, the lien claim should represent amounts owed but unpaid by the customer. If things make it to a courtroom and if you're successful there - it's entirely possible that those amounts could be awarded to you. However, they shouldn't be included in the lien claim itself, especially where there isn't a contractual basis for those claims.
