The property owner refuses to pay total bill, only part, and have sent us a check for partial payment, not all. Do we cash the check or wait until lien proceedings or return check? Thank you!

Does the check recite that it is tendered in full satisfaction? If so, depositing it will extinguish the debt. Is there another document involved, like a lien waiver? If so, that can affect the transaction as well. Give me a call and I'll see help you through this. 314-862-1720
