What do I do next?

I am a subcontractor that put a mechanics lien on a property because we were not being paid. I am now being asked to provide the property owner with a waiver release in exchange for final payment. I sent the property owner a final conditional release waiver but he did not accept it and sent me a message from his lawyer which stated: "the document does not have the recorded Document Number. The lien is not yet identified as being recorded. Please ask for this information and it would be best if they provided a copy of the actual stamped recorded lien or receipt from the County Clerk identifying the Document Number." I sent them the recorded mechanics lien. I am not sure what to do next.
