I filed a mechanics lien on a property in georgia. The owner
stated he was contesting the lien and filing a lawsuit against me. What action do I take in response to this

You must understand that your time to take action on the lien has been shortened from one year to 6 months. To take action and perfect your lien means to file an action against the party with whom you have a contract.
